C3 68 4055 Center carb questions

Hi I have a few questions about a 4055 center carb for an April dated car:

1. Would this carb be 4055 or a revised 4055-1 for an April 68 car?

2. Did the lock screws for the float adjustment have:
a. A beveled top rim?
b. What is the correct color silver or gold for the screw and nut?

3. The inlet fitting between the fuel line and the carb bowl has a hex head for the wrench on one side and is smooth round on the other side of the fitting. I have inlet fittings with the hex head on the carb bowl side and I also have them with the hex head on the fuel line side, which is correct? One takes a 13/16 wrench and one takes a 1" wrench.

4. What is the correct material for the carb to air cleaner gasket?

5. Is 5062 the correct metering block?

3 = 11-inch and make sure the nut is black -- NOT gold

5 = I think the metering block numbers are in the TIM&JG. Be sure the metering blocks have only the one set of numbers. Later replacements have two sets of numbers and are inappropriate.

the holley parts manual says 5062 metering body

1. When a bought a date matching center carb (2nd week of March) for my April built car I got a 4055-1.

4. Check the Doc Rebuild catalog. He claims to have gaskets with the correct material.
