Anyone Know This Car?? # 3686

Does anyone recognize this car............picture was taken in 1992.

I was told this 1957 VIN#.............3686, ended up in this condition in the state of Washington after seeing some time on the race track.

Any info is highly appreciated.

I'm very proud to say that I since have brought it back to life....earning TOP FLIGHT two weeks ago.

WOWWWWW.i thought mine was ruffwith no wiring or even door hinges on but most parts were in 60 odd boxes...got 2nd flite in 2007 Fla reg..congradulations on urs.. my body work was easy compared to urs...John

This is the FINAL product after an 8 1/2 year restoration. With the exception of machine shop work; chrome/polishing; body work and painting, I did it all..............hence it took almost 9 years.

The RIDE was well worth it.

It won TOP FLIGHT last month even with all the careless mistakes on my part.

WOW, this is awesome. It looks like you even had to find a frame for it. Did you have anything to go by as far as power train? The picture of a pile of fiberglass, leaves allot to the imagination, on what you all had to source. Now as I look at the hulk and the end product, I see you wanted a '57 in the worst way and made it the best way. If you have more pictures, I would sure love to see the progress of this car. What determination!

I showed the car in competition five times against other vettes and have won either a plaque or trophy four out of the five times. I usually display a bunch of 4 X 5 pictures of the car from start to finish. The average "JOE SIX PACK" gets blown away of the outcome.
