rear wiring harness on 56

Hi folks,

Just wandering if anyone has good experience on replacing rear wiring harnesses. I have recently purchased a second 56 to build, the previous owner cut the rear light harness. Any suggestions for an easy way to replace. The last one I had in this condition was not a problem because I put a clip on the car but this is a good body so I do not want to do anything radical. Michael, do a search as this was discussed in March to June time frame. If you '56 has a power top the ground for the motor goes on the same ground point as the taillamp ground wire - the driver's side rear bumper bracket in the trunk not on the exhaust. The change to exhaust was made with '57 year model. The AIM shows the '56 ground in the trunk as canceled, but the cancel date was effective with the '57 model year. FYI it's best to use the year icons which will help make future searches easier. Gary....
