55 #221 for sale (not by me)

Roy, especially, likes to keep track of 55's, and anyone else might like to know that 55 #221 was for sale this weekend at the Jefferson, WI, swap meet. His line of bs was that it was one of only 15 3-speed cars (but everything was wrong for it to be a 3-speed) and that it's one of only 7 Aztec Copper cars (too early for that, right?)
Original shielding was still there, wrong motor, 2x4 setup, harvest gold paint flaking off, etc. I can let anyone who is really interested know how to contact the seller--believe me, I am not his agent, and I think that he's asking $20-25k too much.

I've been in touch for quite a while with a guy in Spain having #22 a 55 Corvette that is copper and I've seen many pic's of it in areas that no one over painted and it is a copper 55. You can find a 55 3 speed in almost any number 55 because many were "dealer" added in late 55 -56 requested by the original owners. I once owned 55 #422 a 3 speed in Noland's book.'

How is the show going now up in Jefferson? Last time I was there it was a muddy and/or dust blown pasture. Have they improved the grounds there at all?

I ordered and took delivery of my 63 from the former Chevy Dealer in Jefferson: Ruel Chevrolet (long gone). My Army Buddy's mother used to own and run a Restaurant on the main highway intersection in town (Redding's) and I stored the 63 there in the basement garage for a couple of years.

I looked at the pic's and that is a vary nice 55 , under the hood it looks original parts and nice.
