There's also a concern about advertisers in the driveline getting bent out of shape as well.

I want to see a for sale/wanted section on this forum.

The driveline doesn't cut it, online or otherwise, though putting it online is a step in the right direction (but too diffiuclt to use). The internet has been around in its current form for over 10 years. I'm paying 70 dollars a year to belong to the NCRS and my local chapter. What I get for that money is is this forum and a magazine 6 times a year. I have to pay to go to events our own club puts up. Which is fine, I'm all for helping. I don't think its too much to ask to get a for sale section on this forum to help me save money or get a part when I need it without getting jerked around on ebay or by untrustworthy folks, which happens to me ALL THE TIME.

There's a reason newpapers are losing subscribers: Its because people find it easier and cheaper to do it online. NCRS should not be ignoring a legitimate demand when it can improve the use of this board and bring in new members.

Sorry if my post is a little infammatory. But, it would take the moderators a grand total of 60 minutes to put up the new section at most.
I agree as well.I get a very tired of answering ads in the drive line only to find what ever was ":sold a couple of weeks ago".What really stinks is when the seller says that the buyer called on the ad from the driveline a couple of weeks ago and mine had just arrived that day.I am in Cleveland not too very far from Cincy so mailing would not appear to be an issue. Is some one cherry picking the ads?? putting them out here would truly make it first come first serve.
Sorry if my post is a little infammatory but it is too true not to be mentioned

The bottom line here is that I would rather buy a part from a fellow member of NCRS. The S stands for Society - let's support this Society! I feel more comfortable dealing with those who support this organization by being a part of it. If I have a part that can benefit fellow members I would rather they have the opportunity to receive it first. By not allowing exchanges in this venue between members, the moderators are effectively working against the best interest of the members. How was that allowed to happen? Do the members have any say in this or is it only the province of some small group who enjoy the control? Who ever the Star Chamber deciders are, please open this issue to the membership so they can benefit from the offerings of fellow members rather than continue to insist that the untimely availability of Driveline ads is our only NCRS based option.
