      Thanks all. It was the seal. Was the old one bad? You bet. May have been the original seal. The dust boot was like a potato chip. It took about 2-1/2 to 3 hours. It was more involved then I first thought.

        I would do the other headlight and the wiper seal as well. That way you are preventing failure of the rest of the system as they are probably the same age and/or condition.
