Decades ago I did something really dumb. I brush "painted" a red line on the backside of my '57's original spare. I used a dye from MG Mitten, Marion Weber and gang. 
Before I attempt to remove the dye and damage the tire are there any ideas on what to use and how to use "it" to remove the red line.
