Is there a list of all correct 1965 fasteners

In an effort to ease the accumulation of all the correct fasteners (screws, bolts, nuts and washers), is there a published inventory list that would also show all correct markings?

Whoa, apparently no one has the much coveted records of the production data for the completed cars, with Gm's and the plant's lack of records and the expediant purging of production records, I would seriously doubt that was or would ever be possible with absolute accuracy.
For example, there may be as many as 7 different suppliers and headmarkings for a single application, (there may be more) while other applications used one bolt/headmark exclusively, period. Really? not, anomolies continue to surface frequently.
Some effort would be required on your part, but, your best bet would be to research each configuration in the JG, like most of us have had to do, disect, document and record a known original car, or, look for the Paragon booth at one of the Corvette events. They occasionally have a limited amount of posters that are likely to be as close as you can get.
Perhaps, the GM'ers may want to expound further.

As Mike noted, there were multiple suppliers for all fasteners, and for any given fastener, they all carried the same part number, regardless of the individual supplier's headmark. Bins on the line were re-stocked by part number (not by headmark), so there could be a bin of one part number of fastener with several different headmarks. Nobody in the plant paid any attention whatsoever to headmarks - only the part number mattered; if the same part number was used on both sides of the line, you could end up with different headmarks on each side, or multiple headmarks on the same side, or if a fastener was missed at a line operation and replaced at a repair station, that could introduce another different headmark. Observation of many similar known-original cars may or may not show usage patterns, depending on when they were built.

So, is there a list of the correct head markings for 64/65?

          Martin,

John or Mike or someone with far more knowledge than I might know this off the cuff. I think the JG is pretty good at calling out the more common ones, and the Paragon poster that Mike mentioned will allow you to see what the JG attempts to describe in words (i.e. what does a circle with an A look like? Is the circle itself large or small? Is the A very big in relation to the circle or small? The poster is helpful in that sense.)

I hope this helps a little.

          Joel

            Martin,
My interpretation of John's response is abundantly clear, NO.
Again, back to my original post on the subject, the JG is probably the best current resource. Most applications addressed provide the headmarkings that have typically been seen on known original cars over the years.
If there were such a list, John and the other plant guys would have known about it.
In an attempt to satisfy you quest, at best, someone may be able to assemble a list of part numbers of the fasteners used, but, not even this could be totally accurate and would not provide any relationship to specific head markings.

There's an 8-page appendix of fastener headmarks by application in the back of the Tripoli chassis restoration book, and the '63-'67 Dobbins book has two pages of similar headmark information near the back.
