As stated, an NCRS judge, during a local shine show, said hey Ken those are repos. I went home and took out my originals and side by side you can see that the band thickness is different. Now that the overall thickness of the sill must conform to the car, the thickness of the wide band versis the narrow bands in black is compromised.

In a side by side test .015 can be seen but on the judging field if you looked at a car 50' away and came back could you see .015 or the thickness of a businness card? I would say the holes not countersunk or the gloss was why he could tell that it was a repo.
