Friend of mine has a numbers matching '60. His carb has been running lousy since starting after 5+ years.
We are have a couple problems.
1) The carb has no visible numbers anywhere, just Rochester 4 Jet, GM, RP. In looking at the JM and other guides we see that the car seems to have only come with Carter WCFB carbs. So, is the Rochester an after market GM replacement carb, or was it possible to have one come with a Rochester?
2) Trying to find a possible re-build kit for the Rochester carb, how best to proceed without removing and/or disassembling. Any ideas how to date this Rochester Carb?
Some Pics attached, more available if it will help identifying.
Thanks in Advance,
David
