I am planning on rebuilding my entire parking brake system on my 66 and back in 2005, had put together a document of ideas from searches of the archives on how to improve the performance of your parking brake, but do you think I can find it.
I searched the archives again and did not find the quantity of ideas that were on there before, so I thought I would ask the question and hopefully capture the ideas in one thread.
I know a lot of you have lived with the inadequate factory set up forever and some have taken it to the next level.
I know from the factory it was a marginally working system to begin with, but have any of you modified the system (more thinking at the shoe end) to impove the performance?
Any assistance with this would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
