C3: 427 Distributor Shield Support Color?

Are the '69 427 dist shield supports, which bolt on to the intake, orange or semi-flat black or???

I believe they were engine orange for all engines which had shielding.

The SERVICE supports are/were black in recent time -- bare steel earlier. Production were supposed to be engine orange on ALL Corvette engines, even those with aluminum intakes.

Orange...........dipped/brushed not spray painted
