Is the cross-member for the transmission mount welded or or one that you can unbolt at each side and remove?

Steve, Ralph has a list that was used to calculate freight rates from the various GM plants to the different dealers.

Do you have the freight cost from St Louis to dealer 30687 (Weisgner-Buckalew) in Conroe Tx. April 1968? Kind of nice to know stuff.
              Thanks

I see a tank sticker that appears to have had that band over it for a long time. Do not remove that tank sticker from that tank. You need to move slow and try to have someone who knows thease cars try to solve the puzzle. I can see that tank and sticker on E-bay now with more than one person ready to build that car. It would be interesting to watch. You made a great find and have fun with your new found tank sticker. As a new person on the board you made a big splash with your find.

Good luck finding a dealership that for some reason retained records from 1968! That's WELL beyond conventional time limits for record retention...

Dale, The Anchor Motor Freight book only shows the pay miles from the Framingham Mass. auto yard rail terminal.

Thanks for looking. I have to go and get ready for Ike as its zeroing in on us here in the Houston area and my 68 is in the shop, not here in the hangar. I think she will be O.K. though.
