For a Red car-Is the unleaded fuel label lettering white or black?

For "Medium Red" I would assume black, "Dark" I would assume white...... Unfortunately not more than just good guesses.

Dennis, 'sorry it took so long to reply but i have been cleaning up after Ike. My '77 Medium Red (color code 72) which I ordered new and still have has the solid black label still on it. The car was ordered August 6, 1976 and delivered November '76.

Btw: my 77 has JUST been judged on the Dutch Chapter's Flight last weekend and I had a discussion with the judges.
My sticker reads "Unleaded FUEL only", whereas the Manual states it should read "GAS"... What is written on your original 77's sticker then???

My label reads "UNLEADED FUEL ONLY", all upper case letters, bold and black. All I have ever seen are UNLEADED FUEL ONLY.

Thanks a lot - that's what I knew, but the Judging Manual says "GAS"!
So, time to correct it (with some other small things, like C66 was NOT a metallic paint).......
