All repro dealers list 55 to 59 Radiator shrouds as if they are all the same .
1 55 early top shroud section had no cut out at the top radiator hose area as seen on all repro's.
2 Mid-late 55 did have the radiator top hose cut out
3 All 55's and early 56 have a five piece shroud as shown here that I painted red to highlight the fifth piece ,that is why the lower bottom section has TWO little holes to connect to the fifth piece 55 to 56 only, which repro's still Have.
4 57 to 59 should not have them because the lower bottom section now had TWO large holes to connect to the front cross frame.
No one repro's the fifth piece , even the JM don't mention it for 55 early 56. The reason was to reduce vibration of the lower shroud section.
I rarely have seen any restored 55-56 that had it installed , like many things if it's not in the JM few care or know.
Again just some more Trivia

Shown is a original 55 Corvette
Here is the repro 55 showing the TWO little holes for the fifth piece that is missing to be screwed to but not repro'ed (all comments are welcomed )
