    55 PG Painted?

    Looking at Nolans book the PG appears to be painted black. Is it the same as the chassis black or is it a different sheen.

          Tyler, Noland's book mentions painting the trans on page 64 in a caption to trans pictures. But, it does not mention color or if the '55 received the same treatment. I had been told in the past they were cast color, but this could have been a function of paint wearing off.
