    Wiper motor removal

I had a look under the dash of my 1960 and scared myself when I saw how the wiper cables work. I'm not going to touch that !!!!!! But I need to remove the wiper motor. Can I do that without disturbing the cables. Help !!!!!

Stewart, the wiper motor is screwed to mount plate on the firewall. It should come right off after removing the bowden cables and vacuum hoses. Removal is covered in the ST12 section 12-4. If you have to get into the wiper transmission cables, there's how to articles on the C1 CD-ROM's available from the NCRS store. Gary....

Stewart, I removed mine to do a restoration and it took a couple of minutes to unscrew! It is very easy and was just as easy replacing.

      Good Luck!
