      Hi Ken,
Have you tried Corvette Specialtes of Maryland? They advertise in THE DRIVELINE. They repaired the wiper motor on my 71, and I was pleased with their work. A little $$, but a good job.

I believe there's a Restorer article that address rebuilding from a few years ago. I appeared to be relatively easy.

THANKS EVERYONE. Alan my motor works fine it's the pump that will not work. The guy that restored my 70 LT-1 CONV. tried but could not get it to pump. Thats 25 points. I emailed the wiper guy.

            Hi Ken,
I suggested CS of M because I believe they'll work on the pump, too. I had forgotten about THE RESTORER article, that could well be the answer.

I had my 71 wiper motor and 5 port valve assembly restored by Wiperman57 in Sewanee, TN. Did a great job.

                Re: 1970 Washer Pump

Any way to get a copy of the Restorer article on the forum?

Mine was working this morning and while trying to clear the lines the pump and wiper motor have failed. I'm supposed to get judged for the first time in 3 weeks. Any advice on trouble shooting the motor or the pump are greatly appreciated.

                Thanks,
                Greg

                  Hi Greg,
There is a good bit of information on the wiper motor and washer pump in the G.M. Chassis Service Manual. It's in the Electrical Section...12-38 to 12-50.
I also have Bob Cook's washer pump rebuild article from the RESTORER. It's in the Summer 1995 Issue, Volume 22, Number One. If no one gets it to you today (Sunday), I can fax you a copy tomorrow. Just let me know.
                  Regards,
                  Alan

                    Alan,
Thanks. I've ordered a shop manual and should have it in a few days. I won't panic for another couple weeks. I may take you up on the fax tomorrow though. Very kind of you to offer!
