63 Water pump

Hello all. I have a friend who is restoring a very early 63 Corvette, 327-340 HP, and he needs to make sure he uses the correct water pump. Can someone provide me with the correct casting number and any other relevant information? As always, thanks in advance for your help.

If it were me, I'd be looking for a GM #3782609 with a 1/2" NPT bypass fitting. However, these are VERY hard to find. A GM #3839175 would probably also be acceptable.
