69 Side Exhaust Rear Valance / Quarters

Does anyone have a pic, or could describe what a factory rear quarter panel connecting flange / bonding strip to the rear valance looks like from a '69 side exhaust car?
Mine has small bonding strips/flanges on each side with two holes drilled in them that look bonded to the quarter panel, but I don't know what the outside corner should look like...
Previous owner filled in the exterior seam between the quarters and valance to make it look "prettier", and I want to put it back the way it is supposed to be.
Were the corners smooth around from the valance connecting surface to the quarter panel back surface?
Or was there a seam on the corner or the quarter panel?
I looked in the assembly manual and it shows the bonding strips and states "B" Bond, but I don't know if the corners were filled in before paint.

Why don't you PM member Chuck Gongloff. Chuck and his wife Pat have a nice 69 side-exhaust car. Perhaps he'll take a picture and describe his car's valance/ quarter panel seam.
I found original quarter panel pieces from a wrecked car and a new valance panel when I put side-exhaust on my 71 in 71. I rounded the edge you're asking about to match the edge of the valance, so there would be a pretty seam. That was 37 years ago, I didn't know better.
