    Hi Joe,
In 1961 I ran into a car on my bicycle. The doctor I was taken to had a SPEEDSTER in his garage. Yes, his office was at his house. I had been reading Road &Track, but didn't really realize that there were sports cars in northern New Jersey.
In 1962 I had to decide between a 55 Bel Air Convertible ($525.00) and an MG TF ($1100.00). My father and brother convinced me to buy the Chevy. My girlfriend liked the MG, but it seemed fragile to me at the time. The Corvette came along in 1971. We (the MG girl) ended up getting married in 1972. The first time she saw my 71 Corvette she asked me what kind of Mustang it was. She still doesn't know about cars but is very patient with me and mine.
    Regards,
    Alan

You can also see the right headlight of the car in question through the windshield of the Corvette - it is an MGA!

Mary Beth and I got married in 1974 and just celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary this past weekend. She has watched all the cars come and go with little to no interest..but she is waiting for me to cash in on the Nassau/Daytona/Sebring car. A two million dollar price tag caught her attention.

My brother in law has a warehouse full of cars and he especially likes jags and has many. At the moment he has two matching red 150 convertibles in his garage along with several others. He also has a very cool unrestored 1956 T Bird German Export model. His warehouse is like walking back into time.

        What a hobby!
