67 vet Stinger Stripe

I have a Goodwood Green big block car being repainted. I bought the car 5 years ago and it had a black stinger stripe. It has the std black interior so didn't think much of it and as I had the pocket version of the ncrs spec guide. In my older version of that guide it ops out for a black stinger with the green. Now my new judging guide says it is only available with the white stinger unless you have docs to prove otherwise. Any help?

Dave, I also have a goodwood green car. I went through the ncrs judging process up to the national level as well as Bloomington.All wanted a White Stripe, regardless of the interior color.

Besides it LOOKS a 1000% better with a white stripe, my 2 1/2 cents Phil 8063
