Hi, just joined the NCRS while at Carlise. I have a 1974 BB coupe that I would like to do a body off restoration. So I will be asking a lot of questions. While at Carlise I was looking for a Rochester Carb and original BB manifolds, no luck there. My build date is 13 November 1973, the car is a BB with a 4 speed, AC, and Pwr steering. I wa told the motor was rebuilt about 500 miles ago, well when I did a compression check on the cylinders three of them read 0. Taking the valve covers off, I found that two of the pushrods were missing and one was bent and broke. So one more thing to take care of. Just one of the many stories, I'm sure in my quest for restoring a beautiful car.

Welcome aboard. You'll get plenty of good advice here on this board. Keep us posted on that BB resto of yours. Coupe or Convert?

Hi Todd,
I'm glad you're a new member AND looking at and posting on the Tech Board. You'll find lot's of help for your questions.
It sounds like you have a really well rebuilt engine. Don't cars and stories often go together?
