Has anyone here installed a complete hood surround with dash onto a 60 before? Do you have ant tips? I am trying to get my Sermersheims hood surround to fit. Lots of grinding here and there. Trying to get it to fit up to the gauge cluster mounting holes is frustrating. I am going out this morning to start on it again. At this point this hood surround from Sermersheims does not fit well at all. Maybe I should have left the old dash in place and made a splice near the windshield. Thanks DG

Dick,
Contact Dave Sly (From this Board) of the Heartland Chapter.
He is completeing the same project as we speak.
He is the guy who had the feature in the recent Restorer.
The surround is bonded to the car and he did split the Sermersheim replacement in the windshield channel.
