Bonding strip thicknesses

Hopefully, I'll be prepping the fire wall of my 68 for repairs and I was curious just how thick the bonding strip along the fire wall that attaches the nose to the body was/is so that I don't take too much off when I take off the old bonding material.

You should be able to tell the difference between bonding material and bonding strip fiberglass. The thickness of bonding strips is generally the same as the body panels.
