Many, but there are pro/con issues... First, if the mirror is a 'standard' mirror, there's typically a date code issue involved. Second, if it's the optional day/nite mirror (glass was NOT dated), then the lion's share of the work relates to de-crimping the housing, removing the original glass and re-crimping the housing.

In either case, places like Paragon offer restoration services where the original glass will be replaced with correct new glass which is less expensive for them since they manufacture reproduction mirrors and have the glass pre-cut and ready to go (both dated and undated) versus adding the labor overhead of re-silvering your original glass.

So, it's a symmantics game here: 'restore' your factory original mirror versus restore by way of re-silvering your factory original glass...

He has worked on several for me, excellent work, reasonably priced.
He is one of the few that uses the correct panhead rivets on the top of the Day/Night mirrors.
