Help locating a 1991 alternator

My father has a 91 Convertible. It is originally except it the alternator was replaced. I'd like to find a correct alternator for him. I haven't looked at his TJM to know what numbers need to appear to verify the originality (i.e. date code, part number, etc).

Can anyone suggest a place to search for a 1991 Corvette alternator that is correct for his car?

I got lucky and found one for $22 on ebay. It was sold as used. When it arrived it had a GM remanufactured part lable on it. I could not belive my eyes when i removed the lable and it was the correct number and date for my 89.
It is unlikely for this to happen again though...
I would get armed with the part number and date code and call wrecking yards. All you need is the front frame the rest you can build or get built.

Like someone told me, there out there you just got to find it.
