C3 tri-power carburetor leak

I have and 69 L68 coupe,
Over the last several years I have had to replace the lead fuel bowl inlet gaskets on each of the three carburetors. I have been told that this has to do with the new unleaded gasoline formula.
Is this normal for the older carburated BB? Has ayone come up with a fix?

Not normal at all. I've had a set in place for 10 years, but they are Holley parts, not aftermarket.

The problem is the best gaskets -- from Holley -- are blue, and not only stick out like a sore thumb but won't pass judging. If you don't intend to have the car judged soon -- and don't care too much what they look like -- get the blue bowl and metering plate gaskets from Holley.

Thanks for the information, I'll see if I can pick up the holley gaskets for now. My car won't be judged anytime soon, as there is still a lot of work that needs to be done.
