'61 Battery Date
For Judging, is the battery on a '61 supposed to have a date?

Your battery should have a three-digit date code. Facing the battery with the posts to the top, the code should be right-side up and is on one of the "islands" that the caps are on fairly near the cap. The first is the last digit of the year, the second is A-L for the month and the third is a V, for Olathe, Kansas. Don't ask me how they got a V for that!
Regarding the V, I know that it is good for 58-60 anyway, and probably for 61-62, but this is the location of a supplier and it changed. Confirm that the V is okay before you put it in.
