    60 bonding strips

    On my 60 I now have my hood surround off. Above the nose corner bonding strips, (above the grill opening corners) I have separate flat fiberglass pieces say 3x7 inches also bonded. One on each side like the corner pieces. Are these suppose to be there? Were these added later by someone other than the factory for strength?
