Found a box of old parts for my 65 coupe with a bag of what is labeled "luggage straps" which contained 4 metal hold downs. Each is about 2 1/2 inches in length with a hole at each end to bolt or screw down and raised in the middle so a strap could be positioned in the center. I searched the archives and found discussion on luggage racks, but did not see any discussion on luggage straps. Did the C2 coupes have an option for luggage straps that were installed in the luggage area behind the seats and was this a dealer installed option?

Re: 65 Coupe Luggage Straps
Yes, there was a Dealer Option for those straps. Good picture of them in Dobbin's book showing installation card. NOT factory installed but are really neat when installed. My old Saddle Saddle 64 Coupe had them, the mounts were on the rear bulkhead and on the metal panel behind the seats. If you look, you'll find the old holes.

Re: 65 Coupe Luggage Straps
Thanks Dan. I found the picture on page 133 of Dobbins book. Do you know where I could find the rest of the parts I am missing including the straps and metal rings?

Re: 65 Coupe Luggage Straps
Michael, I've seen them on Ebay but for $400+. You might try asking for help in the Driveline ads, someone might have some of the parts. Happy Hunting!
