One of my old high school buddies has been rebuilding engines since the 60's in Streator. IL. His name is Steve Quickel and does fantastic work. I will see him at Roamer Cruise Night the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. If you are anywhere near Streator you need to go to this event. There are always over 600 cars and the whole downtown area is blocked off except for the cars registered in the cruise. It amounts to a 4 hour parade and car show starting around 6:00 pm. I plan on being there with my 62 from Harlingen, TX. Look me up. Red-on red 62. John -

I just spoke with Steve and he sold all of his equipment to another guy that is supposed to be pretty good. His name is Denny King. He didnt have his number handy. You may be able to call information for Streator and get it or come to "cruiser night" on the 30th.Comment
