    P/B Check Valve

    Is this a correct P/B check valve for a 67? If so what other years was it used? If not whats it supposed to look like and what 's this one used for?

    The JG text refers to this part (booster check valve) as a 'filter' and cites it's correct factory original configuration as having two concentric circles instead of multiple circles or an 'X' in the top center. There were several sources for these parts + early vs. late designs among the various suppliers.

    My take is you'll probably lose points with this one being deemed a 'replacement' part due to its configuration of concentric circles. The earlier mid-year JG books provide better descriptive text regarding the check valve and most judges look for valves that have this configuration:

    Two concentric circles with the inner circle having slightly more height than the outer circle...
