What year car would this be?

Hi all,

Simple but dumb question. What year car would begin with 40837S? I stay so confused at times because I have a 64 and mine starts with 40867S. Why the two different vins? Could it be AO Smith verses St. Louis? Lost in space here somewhere. Thanks for the help in clarifying this.

You need some sleep buddy.....

The 40837S is still a '64 but the Coupe. Yours is a '64 Vert w/40867S

David you are not kidding. I just got a new dog and with all the whimpering I figured I would spend a few minutes on the computer. I truly thought I knew a lot about the 64 until now. I greatly appreciate the kindergarten approach to answering my question. I do feel bad enough as it is. Thanks and lets get together. The weather is getting cooler soon. There is a Chapter meet next month in North Wilksboro. You should try to attend.
