You own the car of my dreams too!

Seriously though, what is the yellow paint on the by-pass hose for? I don't think I've seen that before.

Roy, My favorite one that got away was a 62 Fawn Beige, Saddle int, White Conv Top, 300 HP, 4 speed. Almost bought one new in late 62, but was convinced otherwise by my future wife Pat.
She is still here, & I now have a 62 Sateen Silver, Red int, Black Conv top, 360 hp 4 speed. Life is good! Barry Holmes #940

              Ooooh, tough question.
My first thought was my '57 F. I., but, my '67 400 A/C coupe was alot more user friendly.

'62 was the last real Corvette.

My first was a black 56, then emerald green 62, and now a roman red 62. Just can't get off the 62!

'57, hands down in my mind, and even though I have a 67 (which is a close second ). Maybe it's because I graduated grammar school that year, St. Gerard's in Hollis, NY. There were some nifty cars in 1957, lots of changes from 56.

For me it's a 1958, white with silver coves and red interior. To the displeasure of my future ex-wife, I've started my search.
There are two kinds of friends; the friend you call to bail you out of jail and the friend sitting next to you in the cell saying "Damn, that was great"!!!

In 1967, a 1967 435 convertible (still have the sales brochure)

I would have to keep the '59 my Dad bought new, which is sitting in the garage...waiting for me to get off my butt and restore!

When I was 9, I saw my first '62 and new I had to have one. When I was 19 (in 1972), I bought one. I have a '62 yet to this day.
