    ZR1 Selling for MSRP ?

Does anyone know of a Chevrolet Dealer selling the new ZR1 at MSRP ?

I, regretably, am not in the market myself; however, yesterday, a group of members from the Central New Jersey Chapter, were approched by a Corvette owner, with this inquiry. I told him I would put it out to my compatriots on the NCRS TDB; and if there is such a dealer out there, he will be identified.

Thanks for any information you can provide.

There are 10 GM exec's cruising around the country in "demos". I would contact your local dealer to see if you can get your hands on one of them.

Cauley Chevrolet in West Bloomfield, Michigan (our chapter sponsor) sells all the "special editions" at MSRP or less, but his ZR1 allocation is already sold.

Local dealer here in east Tennessee was offered $45 over by a broker on each of his two allocations. I about had him talked into msrp before this happened.

Diver Chevrolet in Wilmington, DE is selling the ZR1 at sticker price. They have only been allocated two units though and both are already sold with deposits on them and ordered for the customers.
I believe Porter Chevrolet in Newark, De is doing the same, selling at sticker price, but also only allocated two units and again both are already sold with deposits on them and ordered for the customer.

Two, and he's one of the highest-volume Corvette dealers in the country; he's hoping to get one more.

Played golf with a fellow club member the day they were offered. His brother got a call from his local dealer in Chicago and was told he had 1st choice but had to be there that day with a deposit or full price with the car to be delivered either in Sept. or Oct. It was 117 and change.
