    Splash pan on inner fender

Is there supposed to be a splash guard that attaches to the inner fender well behind the tire? Appears I'm missing something. There are three holes on both sides of the car. Does some sort of shield that would cover the exposed wiring of the dimmer switch go there? Anyone have a picture. I don't see anything in the assembly manual.

Yes, there are splash pans/shields in there. They attach to the inner fender and other places. One of them will protect the high beam switch.

On my AIM, they're at pages B132-B133. Section 11-13, sheet 2.00. Re p/n 3798000. "Fender skirts & reinforcements."

They are repro'd. Around $70. Look in the "Driveline." The usual Corvette parts suppliers have correct bolt/fastener kits.
