    Roy;

    Nice shots - both 2 stud units too, along with the first ram horn type manifold. I recall I used to have trouble blowing out down spout gaskets with the two stud manifolds. I had set up my 50 coupe to use the original log type 2 stud manifolds/exhaust system which worked fine with the first 55 V8 engine. Then I put in a 56 Vette (240hp w/ tripower) and I started to have trouble (6500 rpm +), then when I put in the 58 fuelie, WOW! Every time I ran it up to 6500+ it would blow out the gaskets. I tried everything to level the flanges, etc., even used sealer, but nothing would hold that beast. So, I finally had a special set of headers made with a completely welded system using 50 Olds Glass Pack mufflers w/ pipes out the side. There was no hiding little old lady coupe any more.
