My good friend Art that's 82 and bought his 55 Corvette when it was new took his 55 to have the generator rebuilt and while there the guy fooled with the Voltage regulator and burned up the main harness .Now I have the 55 and going to replace the harness for him.Not looking forward to laying under the dash. I see L.L no longer makes the correct harness with the metal bulb ends ( plastic now) . Or the 53 connecters (black bake alight. ) Do the judges look for them.
NO the guy wont pay for it or the installation.

you'll have to remove the metal sockets from the original harness and solder them to the repo harness. as far as i know, only lectric limited/chicago corvettes repo the harnesses for the c-1's. as far as the correct colored connectors is concerned, reuse ones not destroyed by the melt down and go junkyarding for freplacements for the destroyed connectors. mike

Roy, the M&H harness I put in my car has metal bulb cups for dash light, priced similar to LL. No problems with my harness, went in easy, good fit.
