I have tested my ammeter (in the dash) with a 1.5 Volt battery and there is no needle movement at all. I think that I will have to take it out and either rebuild it or replace it. QUESTION: Must I remove the gauge cluster to get it out of the dash (1966 C-2) , or if I remove the 3 nuts on the bolts on the back of the amp gauge, will it come out of the dash?
