Early '62 Rear Center License Bumper Bar Bolts - HELP

Asking for your kind help again to resolve possible conflict of opinion.
NCRS TIMJG says bumper bar is attached to inner brace assembly with two ZINC or CAD plated "WB" hex bolts (with pinch points) and lock washers. BUT, there also seems some evidence that suggests these hex head bolts were smooth head CHROME plated. Can you clear this up for me.
...and if CHRONE, advise where to find a set.

    Thanks a million.

    Bill,
The cad. plated "WB" bolts mount vertically and their pointed ends are visible inside of trunk. In the middle of the license frame and mounted horizontally are either chrome or cad. plated hex head bolts and locks. Some where between serial numbers 5000 and 8000 these bolts changes to cad. plated WB hexhead bolts. Rich

      Thanks, Rich.
I assume then that the 10 rear bumper bolts are identical to the two vertically mounted bolts for the license plate bumper....cad or zinc plated, pinch point, headmark "WB" or "WB 1-C". Correct?

            Thanks, Mike.

Could bolts ('62 rear bumper or vertical in bumper bar to truck latch mechanism) with exactly the same dimensions including the pinch point and plating, but with a headmark of "N" rather than "WB" be correct for judging??

Never seen an N. Let me amend what I wrote earlier--the short pointed bolts that attach the ends of the bumpers (on the side of the car) to the brace are often WB1C Those that hold the bumpers to the car in the rear (more easily seen) are WB only.

Besides the WB plated bolts, the ones that are easily seen are what everyone calls bumper bolts. These would be the smooth head chrome, except they're stainless, that you describe.

                  Wayne--
There are chrome hex head bolts without head markings used in the rear area as described above. What you're referring to is also used--it is really more properly described as a carriage bolt--it is regular steel with a stainless steel domed cap on it on 61-62 rear bumper usage.

                    Mike,
I know you've seen a lot more 62s than me, but you might want to include this in your database. My never been apart 62 has NO chrome bolts in the rear license bumperette. I'm taking apart now for repaint and will reassemble the same.

                      Wayne--
What is your VIN and what bolts are in the license plate horseshoe area rather than chrome? If you'd rather not give out the VIN here, just email me through the tech board. I'd be happy to add it to my database.
