Does anyone know of a vendor that is selling exhaust tips that are correct for judging? From all the research I have done on this board and in the 1967 TIM&JG I believe a magnet should stick and there may or may not be part #s along the seam. Any judges out there care to comment on the current standard? Thanks.

Re: NCRS Correct C2 Exhaust Extensions
We have not seen any on the Judging field.
S/R-Repops currently appearing do not meet one or all of the accepted criteria.
That is: Magnetic Stainless, Absence of a Part #, or, Production Type Seam and/or its location, outlet angle or length.

Tom, if you have the original set or if you can find an original set that has the seam intact and is not missing chunks, they are easy to restore. It just take time and patience.
All ya need is a steel pipe to slide inside the extension (tight fit), a hammer, 60 grit through 2400 grit wet sandpaper, 0000 steel wool, metal polish and lots of time. A good winter project.
Harry.
