    66 A arms

How long are the long nuts that holds the cross shaft and the shims at the upper A arms.
    Thanks Tony

How long are the long nuts...? Well, let's put it this way to cover all bases: the BOLTS that retain the upper control arm shaft to the frame were 2-1/4" long. They were a special bolt with knurled upper shank, phosphate or black oxide finished and 7/16-20 thread. They were GM-discontinued more than 25 years ago.

The NUT that threads onto the bolt and clamps the assembly was a 7/16-20 stover-type lock nut. It was zinc finished and 3/8" thick.
