Rebuillding window regulators - any experience with America's Finest Corvettes

Rebuild or purchase? Has anyone used the vent window regulator rebuild gears from America's Finest Corvettes (advertised in the Driveline). Your results and comments would be appreciated.

Hi,

Just used his rebuild kit on my '66 with no problems. Mike the owner has always supplied me with great parts and stands behind what he sells. He will do the rebuild for you if you are not handy but the kit has pretty clear instructions.

The kits do work nicely, however, be sure you recrimp the bottom plate back in securely as the gear can generate enough force to drive the plate out the bottom. Ask me how I know, etc.! Second time I JB welded the plates in addition to crimping, works great now!

Dennis Hardesty with the St Louis Chapter use to rebuild them. He did a set for me and I was really pleased. Also very reasonable. I can't find his info right now but if you did a search for members at the top of the page it should come up.
