Hi Guys;
I've been through the archives on this one... lots of good KO information but not an answer to my question.
The KO's in question came off of my 1963.. I bought the car in May of 2005.. The car underwent a frame off restoration back around 1980 when I suspect these wheels were added. I do not know this date to be totally accurate, just my guesstimate based upon what I have found and have been told.
Check out the pictures. The wheels appear to be from the original KH molds and carry the D-49985 designation with the original "KH" cast over (see Picture). What I cannot figure out is what is in that triangle which was cast directly across from the "D" designation... To me it appears to be a poorly done "HBA" (see picture). There are no other markings on the back of the wheels... zippo. The fin width appears to be correct at approximately .220"
Anybody know what these are??
Thanks!!!
Joel
