Hi all, does anyone know when they started to put the casting clock on the 327 ci 3782870 blocks. Anyone have any examples Thank you all Phil 8063

General consensus is sometime in 1964 model year, maybe late calendar 1963. Then at sometime around mid '65 production, number of dots increased to 11 (from 10).

Thanks Wayne, BUT I found a 63 block dated A 2 3 no paint on date bare casting, 3 inch front pad but its blank, 10 point clock. I'll e-mail you some photos tomorrow you can post them, I still cant do it on here. I remember the 63 409s blocks had clocks, different ball game I know but.Thanks! Phil 8063
