James Burrell when I changed to full time vacuum on my 70 in 1970 my Dallas city driving mileage went from 11 to 14 mpg. Highway was an easy 18. Took a trip to San Diego in 1975, coming back to Dallas got 21-22 mpg on a few tanks. Accurate gas mileage is easy on the 70, you can fill it right up to the filler neck, no mistake on the tank being full. 350/300 turbo 400 and 3:08. Engine was stock, except for the Holley 650 6210 double pumper spread bore installed in 1974.
