I have a 67 tele column that I can't get to go up and down. It has been restored, but still won't go up and down. Any help or thoughts.

It is a telescoping steering column, not tilt. IF you mean it won't tilt up/dn its as good as its going to get. -

Its a tele, they didn't do a tilt in 67. It pull out is the problem.Comment

IF you are feeling mechanically inclined and adventurous, you may want to disassemble the colunm and start over.
Did you "restore" the column or someone else?
I've restored a standard steering column and it was easy. Just need to remember how it was assembled (digital photos are great as you disassemble)
If it was assembled incorrectly, and thus, will not telescope, you should be able to see whats wrong after disassembly. I have a parts breakdown sheet of a tele column that I can e-mail you for a guide. Just e-mail me for a copy.

These are not the best scans in the world but they are right out of the 1968 Chevrolet Chassis Service Manual.
