Hello from A new (dutch ) member

    Hi,
    I am Mat Heezen,
The proud owner of a 61 Corvette, imported 8 years ago from California.
Bit by bit trying to improve the car which is a fairly good driver
Many changes were made during the 40 years by previous owners and sadly not all for the best.
I;m trying to install the softtop now. but thats difficult and no professional help is availeble here, and I can tell you Holland has a lot of rain so a softtop is not there for show only.
Hope to learn alot from you guys and may be meet some of you

    best regards
    Mat Heezen

Mat, welcome aboard. If you're redoing your soft top the Al Knoch video is well worth while to get. Regards, Gary....

Welcome aboard. I've been in your great country and enjoyed the rain too. You fellows are sure active over there. That's great! Won't be long and you will be teaching us the "how to's"!

                Hi Mat,

although I am not a member of the Dutch Chapter, I will join the Flight Judging in Wezep in Sep and bring my car for judging. Hope to see you there.

                Cheers from Germany

GREAT, Mat! From the 'other' side of the Atlantic, I'm a founding member of the Dutch Chapter and welcome you to the club...

On installing your soft top, I'd talk to Saunder. He's a GREAT 'wrench' and I'm pretty darn sure he's been down the road you're walking now. Plus, instead of having to think/speak in English, the two of you can chat away in 'native' language!

Gee, Ollie, for only a few Euros, I'm sure the lads can 'fix' the problem of your lack of a Dutch Chapter memebership... Rob Musquetier is known to have an ever-present plam top computer with him, ready willing and able to enroll new members on the spot and make change in three currencies (USD, Sterling, Euros) at the same time. While you're at it, you can get a nice orange shirt and ball cap!

Sorry I won't be at the Septemeber meet to finally see your car...

                      Hi Mat,
I am a relatively new member myself (just marked my one year anniversary as a member). My '66 roadster has just come out of storage, and I had a lot of questions. The membership has been great in providing me with much needed knowledge. Your membership will pay many dividends. Welcome aboard. Dave

Oh, too bad, Jack. I already thought about chances to meet you (or other people fom overseas) there then, too...
Let's see, if somebody else will be able to make it......

Yup, I already targeted those orange shirts and caps! They will have some for sale then.
AND I also considered joining their Chapter, too! (The more as I started to ask for interest in creating a German Chapter but did not get any response - by now at least...)
