C2 glove box door alignment

I removed the glove box door on my '67 to paint it the correct sheen of black. It looks great, but when I re-installed it, I can see about one-half of two large screws that hold the glove box frame to the dash. (Hope that makes sense) I understand how to adjust the door left and right, but how do you adjust it upwards? Or is what I'm seeing normal? You can't see the two other large screws at the sides of the door. Thank you.

Same method to adjust upward, if the door latches freely and securely, you're good to go.

Sounds like your latch is adjusted out too far, if I understand you correctly. I don't know if my 63 is similar, but I don't see the screws around my door (no gap).
